About Fit Solar
Fit Solar is an independent, MCS-certified installer of solar panels, battery storage and EV chargers, based on the Inchbrook Trading Estate in Stroud. They work with homes and businesses across Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds, including older and listed buildings. They have since become a multi-award-winning company.
What they needed
Fit Solar launched as a new company in 2022 and needed a brand as well as a website from day one. Going solar is a big decision, so the site had to explain the options plainly, show what things cost, and get people to book a site survey.
Designing the logo
Before any web design, we created the Fit Solar logo. It set the colours and style the website was then built around, so the brand and the site were consistent from launch.
Planning the site
We agreed a sitemap built around how customers make that decision:
- Sales: solar for homes, solar for businesses, battery storage and EV charging
- Our prices, so visitors can see costs up front
- Support: servicing and maintenance, panel cleaning and their Fit Care aftercare package
- Info: case studies, customer reviews and helpful guides
- Book an appointment and Contact us
The design is bright and confident, with the “book appointment” button in the header so it is never more than a click away.
The build
The site has grown with the business, with new services and pages added as Fit Solar expanded. Behind the scenes we wrote three bespoke WordPress plugins: a calendar booking platform for surveys and consultations, an email nurture workflow that follows up with enquirers, and the solar calculator. We also connected the site to HubSpot, so every enquiry lands straight in their CRM.
