About Tech Salvage
Tech Salvage collects unused laptops from businesses and refurbishes them, keeping working machines in use and out of landfill. Collection is simple: the business boxes up its old laptops and the Post Office picks them up. Hard drives are either kept by the business or securely shredded by a specialist, with a certificate of destruction.
What they needed
As a new venture, Tech Salvage started with no name recognition, no logo and no website. They needed a brand that felt both environmentally minded and trustworthy with business IT, and a site that made arranging a collection effortless.
Designing the logo
We started with the logo. It needed to signal recycling and technology at a glance, and to look credible to the IT managers and office managers who hand over equipment. The website’s colours and style were then built from it.
Planning the site
The whole service can be explained in a few steps, so we agreed a very short sitemap:
