About Amalfi
Amalfi is a family-run business with two sites near Stroud. Amalfi Nailsworth is a restaurant and pizzeria on Market Street serving Italian and Sicilian food, with alfresco dining in summer and pizzas to take away. Cucina di Amalfi is their café on Minchinhampton High Street, serving coffee, lunches and ice cream.
What they needed
Two venues with different menus, opening hours and phone numbers can easily confuse diners. Amalfi needed one site that kept both clear, made booking a table simple, and gave a feel of the place before people arrived.
Planning the site
A restaurant site is mostly used on a phone by someone deciding where to eat tonight, so we kept the sitemap short:
- Home: both locations side by side, each with its address, opening hours, map link and menu
- Gallery
- Reservations
- Menus for each venue, which the team can swap whenever the menu changes
- Find us: a map link for each location
The design is warm and relaxed, built around photography of the food and the restaurant.
