About Ballinger
Ballinger Plumbing and Heating is a team of Gas Safe registered engineers working across Stroud and the wider Gloucestershire area. They are accredited installers for Ideal boilers, offering up to a 12-year warranty on new installations, and they also fit complete bathrooms, showers and en-suites.
What they needed
Like most trades, Ballinger’s work comes from people nearby who need help quickly. They needed a website that made two things obvious the moment it loaded: what they do, and how to call them.
Planning the site
We agreed a deliberately small sitemap built around their two main services:
- Home: the overview, why customers choose them, and reviews
- Boiler installation in Stroud
- Bathroom installation in Stroud
- FAQs
- Contact us
Giving each service its own page, named for the town they work in, means each one can appear for the searches local customers actually make. The design was agreed before the build, using a clean layout with the Gas Safe logo kept in view to build trust.
The build
We built the site on WordPress so the team can update it themselves. Key features:
- The phone number sits in the header on every page
- A call-now button on mobile, so a visitor can ring with one tap
- Customer reviews on the homepage, with star ratings
- A clear “free estimate” call to action at the foot of every page
